How Snelling Georgia Will Help You Succeed in Your Next Job

If you’re like a lot of people, you spend more time at work than with your family. It’s why finding a job you love – one that makes you happy – is key. At Snelling Georgia Group, that’s what we do. We offer insider access to rewarding opportunities with leading companies in Atlanta and across Georgia.

We fill openings in both the public and private sector in a range of industries, from healthcare and accounting to marketing, IT, administrative and more. We will work with you to learn about your background, skills and goals – all to match you with a job in or around Atlanta that makes you smile.

If, however, you’ve never worked with a recruiting firm like ours, you likely have some questions. Here are a few frequent ones we get and our answers to each one.

How do you match candidates with assignments?

Once we have a job to fill we think is right for you, we will carefully review your application to check if you’re a match. This is based on information including interviews, background checks, skills testing, and reference verifications. If there is, then we will give you a call and let you know about the opportunity. If you’d like to accept it, you will then participate in an orientation process to help you get up to speed on the position.

What is involved in your orientation process?

Our orientation process is designed to set you up for success. We want to ensure you feel comfortable and well-prepared when you’re staring a new position or assignment. We’ll give you all the details about the job’s expectations and tasks, as well as the company’s culture. You’ll have all you need to succeed from the start.

Are all your job openings temporary?

Many of our jobs are temp-to-perm. This is essentially where an employer hires you for a trial period and if they are pleased with your performance, they extend a full-time offer. However, other positions are temporary and can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks or even months. We will explain all this at the time of your placement and if you decide you don’t want to move forward, just let us know.

What if I don’t like an assignment I’m on?

Not every job is the ideal fit. If you’re not loving what you’re doing, we ask that you contact us to let us know. You might be asked to remain in the position until we can fill it with someone else. However, you can rest assured we will work to fix the situation as quickly as possible. Communication is key with our team and we will always be open and honest with you.

What benefits do you offer?

When you accept an assignment with Snelling Georgia Group, you can expect our team to provide the resources you need to be your best. In fact, we offer competitive pay, along with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that will give you access to a wide range of benefits, from financial guidance and money management help to mental health support and resources.
